I didn't know it then, but I was beginning to collect memories that would stay with me for decades.
People I met.
Stories I heard.
Ambitions, betrayals, friendships and hidden lives.
Years later, those memories helped inspire my latest novel, Circle of Secrets.

Women are told they become invisible with age. I clearly missed that memo.

When are you too old to wear camouflage and neon? Or do you reach an age where you finally stop asking permission?

I spent years worrying about what was age-appropriate. Now I wear what gives me joy, makes me feel confident, comfortable and fully myself. Some people will love it. Some won't. That's the freedom that comes with age.

The most stylish woman in the room isn't the one following the rules—it's the one brave enough to break them.

The world was different then - no smart phones, no social media, no judgement.

We could go wild, have fun, have secrets.
Life was glamorous, exciting and for living - not for recording every moment.

What was a fun and memorable highlight of your week?
Mine was:
@alfreddunhillpadelclassic @thehurlinghamclub
Champion players, celebs and sports personalities played padel matches,
including @judymurray_ @jamie__murray @joemarler17 @michaelmcintyre
whilst we drank one of my favourite rose wines @maisonmirabeau and ate delicious food by @cubitthouse and escaped the unpredictable weather changes from blue sky to thunder, lightening, hailstones and torrential rain.

No matter how busy life gets, having something joyful - big or small - to look forward to each week makes a difference.
It doesn’t have to cost a lot — just something that lifts your spirit and breaks the daily routine.
It’s amazing how one fun day or evening can lift your energy for days afterwards.

✨Life needs little pockets of joy sprinkled through the week ✨
