So...here are some personal things that you may no

So...here are some personal things that you may not know about me, that I don't often share on my socials: 🤫
1. I have two adult children
Bella - a celebrity makeup artist and co- founder of JOMO LONDON and mum of my two-year-old grandson Otis.🧡
Rory - a garden designer
Both with wonderful partners -
Shan and Oli 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
2. I currently live in London but have also lived abroad in Los Angeles, New York, Paris, and... the Isle of Wight 😀
3. My life changed after a 2014 hip re-surface op (not same as a normal hip op) - that over seven years destroyed my 100% good hip bone. When the extent of the damage was discovered in 2021 - I was blindsided to be told there was a possibility that I may not walk again. The major revision op with a customised 3D printed titanium implant (1 in 100 in the world like this) took a year of intensive rehab to learn to walk again - with work opportunities and personal relationships impacted.
4. Regular Pilates and swimming are the two sporting activities that now keep me active into my 70s.
5. I have worked in fashion all my life - with a fashion degree in design and merchandising - my own London fashion boutiques - styling for films and tv commercials - fashion journalism for magazines and newspapers - celebrity styling for over 30 years - TV and radio fashion commentary and presenting - personal style and life change for 1:1 clients - and now content creation for beauty, heaIth and wellness, fashion and lifestyle brands .
6. Finally, I'm very proud of a new career that began in lockdown - as a published author of spicy fiction with twisty-turny plots: Secrets in the Dark, my debut novel - and my sequel - Circle of Secrets - out Summer 2026.

When you've experienced major life changing moments, it makes you appreciate the little things that you may not have found important before... and grateful for everything that every new day might bring.🙏

I was enjoying myself so much that I forgot to take any pics, especially of the fabulous Italian food and drinks being served.
.
Seen here with the lovely Marietta Maccioni @mmaccioni64 - Alvaro's daughter - the founder of the iconic Italian restaurant La Famiglia - that I have been going to since it first opened in Chelsea when I was 20.
.
And it was so nice to spend time, too, catching up again with @ollielockeworld @garethplocke

My treatment was at the excellent Dr Hala's clinic in SW London.
Dr Hala did offer me skin numbing cream first - but I declined and she was super-gentle, using very fine needles, so it wasn't really painful apart from near the top lip.

Oh I forgot to say - the downtime is around 12- 24 hours - with tiny raised bumps on the skin - but they're not really noticeable.
No makeup, exercise or swimming that day- or sunbathing.
The following day everything is back to normal - and of course using a high factor suncream protection.

Lot 3062: Sherard couture was one of my mother's collections of 1950/60s eve dresses
Size 8-10.

Lot 3071 : 1950s/60s lingerie incl Schiaparellli silk stockings from my archives.

Lot 3060: The Fiona Clare silk dress and coat coord that I wore on one of the days of Royal Ascot races 1999 when I was presenting the fashion coverage for BBC TV. Size 10. Fiona Clare is one of the go-to designers for Queen Camilla.

What a lovely birthday with
@bellacampbell1 and the grandson opening presents first...
.
Then to Millers Ark Animals farm @millersarkanimals - a unique and special place - a working farm, only opened to the public on some days.
.
Here, the tamest animals come to you for cuddles - not because you have treats or food for them - that's not allowed - but because they choose to interact with you.
.
All the animals were with their babies, from just a day old to weeks or months - shetland ponies, a shire horse, donkeys, goats, and pigs, rare breed chickens, and more. I could happily have stayed there all day...
.
Thank you so much, Bella, for the wonderful surprise treat. It was one of the best birthdays I've ever had - spending time interacting with the animals there.
.
Then back to London for a quick change and to @chelseaaivy for a girly supper with @sandicorbett
