Last Wednesday we launched the Ceril Campbell "Red Carpet" makeover destination at the BECCA makeup boutique, South Kensington, London. 
A 2-floor glamorous boudoir setting with BECCA makeup artists on the ground floor and style, beauty, lingerie and grooming advice with Ceril and her team on the mezzanine.(by appointment-please phone 0207 370 2884)

Whilst you enjoy a glass of wine, or light refreshments, you can buy lingerie and shapewear solutions for those "difficult-to- wear-anything-under-dresses" and be fitted for the correct bra size.  You can also order your bridal lingerie for your wedding gown. 

Ceril's new venture is London's only "Red Carpet" makeover one-stop shop for your special day-just like the Celebrities experience for the OSCARS. Whether it's a tweak, a full blown makeover, a Bridal makeover day, a Mothers Day treat, a girlie night out, or a Hen night, this is the place to come.

Superdrug- brilliant affordable hair and beauty products ranges for all ages.

Schwarzkopf- a new at home hair dye-Palette- where I also tried V water, a new natural flavoured de-tox vitamin water. It tasted good.

Boots-their new pharmaceutical range includes a new own-brand weight loss pill to help expel excess fat. and also some new anti-mozzy natural products.

Lytess- a slimming pedal pusher that claims it can reduce your hips and thighs in only 18 days if you wear them for 8 hours a day- 6 days a week. An active slimming formula containing caffeine and shea butter helps slim and reduce cellulite.  I have been given them to test, but am finding it difficult to find a chance to wear them under my clothes on a daily basis.

Finally went to the fantastic new New Look Oxford St store opening. The new season's styles were young and fun and still masses of choice to select from even by an oldie like me! The shoe range was huge. with a 50% press discount for shopping hat morning it was like Christmas!

I dropped into the GLAM show at Earls Court, that was on just for the weekend. You could road test all sorts of girlie stuff to turn yourself into a glamour puss. Everything from beauty, makeup and anti-ageing treatments, fashion shows and advice, and tips for hair and style. You could go in feeling "Sunday slobby" and leave transformed top to toe as there were clothes on sale as well!

A great way to spend a Sunday, whatever your age. I bumped into a mum with her young teenage daughter who had just auditioned for the new series of TV's Britain's got Talent. They told me they had both loved visiting the show.  

This Tuesday is getting better by the moment! After a shaky start oversleeping, watch stopping and Covent garden parking meter out of order, I shared a yummy lunch with a girlfriend at the new Harrods Caviar House and Prunier caviar and seafood bar. 

A long while later after working our way through real caviar (what a treat- I am usually only eating fake at a few £s a pot from Waitrose),  delicious smoked salmon and crab we left feeling perfectly full- but not stuffed.  Lucky as I am off to Shoreditch House for dinner tonight....

Did you know that if you put a tiny pile of real caviar on the side of your clenched hand, and eat it from there- you can test if the caviar is good quality..... If the caviar is good quality, your hand will not smell fishy nor will there be any residue left.  My hand was pristine and smelt fresh as a daisy!
